Deacon Rudd - A Heartfelt Poem

Lost, lost.
Forever, he's lost.
Cursed into the forest,
Of Gods rejected thoughts.
Forgotten to time,
forgotten to space.
Cursed to run
The never-ending race

Reset, reset.
It all resets again.
This stupid place of colors
this stupid place of pain.
Lost to this unholy forest,
Of forgotten hopes and dreams.
I wish to get away and leave,
The reject forest of rejected means.

Lost, lost.
Forever, he's lost.
Rejected by society,
Forced into his own thoughts.
Counting the days
counting the years.
Falling forever,
in his contorted fears.

Beep, beep.
The ear-piercing beep.
I watch the clock
I watch the screens.
As we all waited,
Waited for it to end.
The silence was cut,
there was nothing left to mend.
