Hometown Holidays

There is no better place to live during the holidays than our very own Murray, Kentucky. The involvement of our town always puts everyone in a cheerful mood. Not to mention how convenient being able to enjoy fun activities with your loved ones is without having to leave the comfort of your town.

This December in Murray is proving to be another exciting holiday season.

The jolly season kicked off with the Main Street Merriment on December 2nd-4th. Local businesses and organizations joined together to help this event come to life. Participating businesses such as Ken Lake foods, The Murray Bank, T-Mobile, and a variety of other downtown businesses organized fun events for the community. This event even included an ice-skating rink provided by the Murray Bank.  The event concluded with an unforgettable performance from MSU Town and Gown.

This early-December event is held annually having food, activities, and the lighting of the town's Christmas tree.

Speaking of lights, Murray’s Central Park continues the Festival of Lights throughout this season. Every year, new attractions are displayed so do not miss out!  Stop by anytime from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. until December 31. Also, as this is the time of giving, be sure to bring canned goods for admittance to the lights.
