Lets Talk Policy

Students at Calloway County High School know well about the new policies along with older ones being enforced much more strictly this year. While they may seem a little hard to comply with, principal, Steve Smith understands and says they are for positive reasons. In this day and age, everyone is constantly distracted by technology, especially by phones, which is why one of the most talked about policies this year is surrounding the topic. Growing up and going to school, Mr. Smith, and others from his era, did not have a phone and still made it through fine. Although it is a big change, he implores people to be patient with the students and faculty, as both are trying to navigate this year on the same level. This, as anything of this nature, is an adjustment, but Lakers can conquer anything if they set their mind to this, including adhearign to the new phone policy.
