Bus Driver Appreciation

Calloway High school students gathered outside of the school in the early morning on Bus Driver Appreciation Day, the 22nd of February, to celebrate our bus drivers.

Celebrated yearly since 2017, schools all around the country honor their school bus drivers, thanking them for all that they do.

This year Calloway County High School celebrated with colorful signs and candy for all bus drivers. In fact, all bus drivers were instructed not to leave the schools until they had received the candy of their choosing.

Bus Drivers do a lot for schools all over the world, providing transportation for those who would not be able to get to and from school otherwise. This would be why, when this year's bus driver appreciation day rolled around, students jumped at the chance to spray festive and bright colored messages across poster boards and were glad to line up outside to show their support. This year students and teachers across Calloway County say thank you to our school's bus drivers.
