A Farewell
The Calloway County School District is saddened by the recent loss of two beloved members of the Laker community.
Mrs. Mandi Murdock, guidance counselor at Southwest Elementary, was loved by every student and teacher she encountered. Her kindness and generosity touched many and will be dearly missed by all.
Elexis F. Williams, a student at Calloway County High School, was a beacon of positivity. Her joy was contagious, and she often gave her time to volunteer at A Place to Be, a farm sanctuary here in Murray. Elexis will be dearly missed by all.
The Laker Review offers condolences and thoughts to the family and friends of both individuals.
