FBLA Students Serve Community

Calloway County High School’s FBLA members adamantly serve their community in numerous ways year after year. Now, after their recent region 1 FBLA competition, their efforts can be highlighted even more.

FBLA members have been serving the CCHS community in a variety of ways, with their efforts most notably focused on the after school backpack program that our local Pella helps to fund. This program provides weekend meals that greatly assist families struggling financially or those who may experience food insecurity.

Bi-weekly, FBLA members can take part in this wonderful opportunity to serve not only others in their community, but specifically fellow students and families in the school.

Their numerous efforts have greatly relieved stress from the Laker Harbor staff so that their attention can be focused on other needs while still being involved in the preparations and supervision of the program.

Member involvement has been the backbone of this program, and there is no doubt that their efforts will allow the endeavor to flourish into the future.

The Laker Review staff congratulates the CCHS FBLA program on their recent regional victories and we hope to see the betterment of our school community through their actions even more in the coming months.
