Not So Silent Night

WARNING TO THOSE WITH LITTLE ONES: let's not ruin the Christmas spirit. Stop reading now if you wish to keep it alive. 

Do you know the secret?  

Athletes have secrets about their game. That is what makes them special and truly unique. Athletes are not the only ones that have secrets, their parents do too.  

So, this leaves us the question, “How did you find out Santa was not real?” 

Coach Thomas: “My Brother.”  

Reese Settle: “My Sister.”  

Jonah Butler: “I have two older brothers; I didn’t think Santa was real for very long.”  

Coach Grooms: “I just figured it out, my parents never told me.”  

Hailee Jones: “I already knew Santa wasn’t real, but I didn’t tell my parents. I thought I wouldn't get as many presents.” 

Eli Finley: “First off, Santa is Real”  

Cole Lockheart: “Haters say there is no Santa, but he is Real.”  

Wyatt Robbins: “I was in 6th grade. My friend told me, and I asked my dad; he broke the news to me.” 

Jayden Oldham: “I think my mom told me.”  

Vayla Carlise: “I saw my mom move the elf; that’s when I got became suspicious.” 

Sadie Lilly: “We didn’t do Santa.”  

Coach Lane: “I was told by one of my cousins, who told me he woke up and saw his parents putting presents under the tree.” 

Stephen Lane: “I figured it out on my own. No way . . . Santa traveling all of them distances in one night.”  

Ashlynne Bazzel: “Other people told me.”  

Mrs. Price: “Santa is real - - you got to keep the spirit alive; it’s one of the greatest joys.”  

Coach Clever: “What in the world are you talking about? What do you mean he is not real!?”  

Connor Lockhart: “I believe in Santa.”  

Jude Bazzel: “My mom asked me to help wrap the presents for my brothers and sisters.”  

Coach Fraser: “I am Santa.”  

Bailee Grogan: “My parents sat down with me at the kitchen table.”  

Preslee Philips: “Crawled down the hall and caught my parents putting presents out. My dad grabs me and takes me back to my room and says, ‘Santa is here.’ It was my mom playing jingle bell music in the living room.”  

Now that the secret is out about Santas’ Helpers (Your Parents). At least our athletes’ secrets about their game are safe.
