FBLA Regional Champions

CCHS Laker FBLA competed in the Region 1 FBLA competition and did a fantastic job.  Out of 700 members and advisers in attendance from Henderson County to Fulton County, we had 89 students and advisors representing CCHS.  Below you will find a list of winners.  To say that we are proud advisors would be an understatement.  These students worked tirelessly to prepare for their events and their hard work is certainly evident.  These students not only excelled in their events but also in their character.  We got so many compliments on how well behaved our students were yesterday from other advisors and judges.  I have attached some pictures from the day.  If you would like to see individual pictures of the students who won, you can follow @lakerfbla on Instagram.

In addition to the individual awards, Laker FBLA won Largest Chapter Membership.  We are actually the largest chapter in the state but this was just the Region 1 Award.

Lastly, Lillie Thorn was sworn in as the Region 1 Parliamentarian for the 2022-2023 School Year.  We have to give a shout out to FFA for training her for this role because Parliamentary Procedure is not my strongest area so, thank you to Mr. Falwell and Mrs. Miller on preparing her!  We know she will do well.

Thank you, faculty and staff, for working with these kids on making up missed assignments and allowing them to represent CCHS yesterday.  Your support of our program is appreciated.

The KY State competition will be April 11-13 at the Galt House.  We hope we come away with some National Qualifiers!
